Wave In only allows me to select recording devices. Here's what my VAC/Audio Repeater looks like. I need both to be active but can't figure it out:

When I set default to AverMedia HD-4, my streaming PC pickups up the audio. When I set the default device to Headphoens ODAC, I can hear audio through my headphones. It seems that in the Wave In part, it only lets me select a recording device, not a playback device.

I installed Virtual Audio Cable and took a look at the Audio Repeater software.

It seems there's no way to set both playback devices as default. I need to be able to listen to my main PC audio via headphones and have it output to the streaming PC at the same time. However, that leaves me with the problem that I can't listen to any audio output from my main gaming PC. I figured out that if I change my default playback device to AverMedia, it WILL recognize it. OBS is still not recognizing audio from my gaming PC. Now I'm just dealing with the audio issue.

Would VAC be the solution? I couldn't figure out how to fix it at the time so I reverted back to a single PC setup. I believe I was able to get the audio captured on OBS, but this was by setting the default playback device to the capture card so I couldn't listen to my headphones because no audio was coming out. I couldn't get the audio working correctly, complicated by the fact that I use a USB audio amp that my headphones are plugged into. Thanks for this guide! I had issues before when running a 2-PC stream setup using an AverMedia capture card on my gaming PC.
